Yes. Most of my clients tell me some version of this before we start. You don’t need to know how to pose or “be confident” before your session. I guide you through natural movement, expression, and direction so nothing feels forced.
I’m awkward / not photogenic. Can you actually help with that?
Dating photos need to communicate more than what you look like. They need to show warmth, lifestyle, personality, attraction, and intent — without making you look staged or overly polished. That’s why every session starts with strategy, not posing.
How is this different from regular portraits or headshots?
It’s the planning step before your shoot where we clarify what your photos need to communicate, what kind of connection you want to attract, and how to make the session feel natural to you. This is where we shape location, wardrobe, energy, and overall direction.
What is the Dating Photo Strategy Session?
Yes. Wardrobe guidance is part of the process. I’ll help you choose clothing that feels like you, photographs well, and supports the kind of first impression you want to make.
Do you help with what to wear?
Sessions are on-location and lifestyle-based. Depending on the experience you choose, we may photograph in your home, neighborhood, cafés, parks, walkable city areas, or places that naturally reflect your real life.
Where do sessions happen?
Foundational is best if you already feel mostly ready and want a focused, guided update.
Signature is best if you want more time to settle in, more variety, and a fuller story.
Private Client is best for deeper support, discretion, styling, and profile-level strategy.

Which experience should I choose?
No. The goal is not to make you look like a model or a corporate headshot version of yourself. The goal is to create images that feel relaxed, current, and believable — like someone could actually imagine meeting you.
Will my photos look too posed or professional?
Yes, depending on the experience. I offer guidance on how your images work together, what they communicate, and how they support your overall profile. The Profile Audit is also available if you want a strategic review before booking a session.
Do you help with dating profiles too?
You’ll receive your professionally edited gallery after your session within the delivery timeline listed in your booking file (typically 7-10 days). Your final images are delivered in an online gallery for easy download and use.
When will I receive my images?
That’s expected. You don’t have to arrive feeling confident. My job is to create enough structure, calm, and direction that confidence has room to show up naturally.
